Our silver-plated jewellery is coated in a layer of approximately three to five microns of silver plate on a brass base. Silver-plated jewellery requires a little more care than solid silver. Gently buff your silver-plated pieces with a soft lint-free cloth to keep them in good condition. To prevent tarnish, it's best to store jewellery in a cloth bag and keep away from heat and beauty products, and we recommend removing your jewellery before showering or bathing to keep it looking its best. Tarnishing is a natural chemical reaction, especially with pieces worn every day, but caring for your jewellery and storing it well will help reduce natural wear and tear.
