  • Our bestselling Tinta furniture collection features expertly handcrafted pieces that are inspired by traditional furniture shapes, bringing warmth and elegance to your home. Handmade from richly toned mango wood with soft, curving edges and fluted details, the Tinta Pink Stripe Dressing Table stands tall on four slim legs, with a lifting top that reveals a in-built mirror on the reverse. Finished with a smooth, flat surface and two shallow drawers, the smaller in a wooden finish with hand carved handles, and the larger with a screen printed pink stripe fabric covering and hammered brass pull to finish.

Behind the design

The collection

An elegant combination of texture and tone, our Tinta furniture collection brings together warm mango wood and Indian cane with printed cotton panelling for a design-led finish. Tinta exudes a hint of nostalgia, inspired by traditional furniture shapes and using vintage fabric techniques. Each piece is expertly made by hand, and the range includes a dressing table and desk, bedside table, wardrobe, shoe cabinet, chest of drawers and tallboy chest of drawers.

The details  

Considered finishing touches include tapered legs, smoothly carved curves on the surface tops and tactile ridged edging, giving a juxtaposition of textures that are pleasing both to the eye and touch. Simple wooden pull handles sit alongside hand-hammered gold-finish drawer knobs. Inspiration for the printed panels came from vintage woven ikat fabric, whereas the newest Tinta collection has a traditional white, green and pink stripe design. ‘Pattern is a huge part of our identity,’ says Head of Home & Gift Design Kate Butler, ‘and it’s often how we add excitement to our products.’

Most of our furniture will be delivered fully or partially assembled to keep things nice and simple. If any assembly is required, this will be detailed on the product page alongside specific assembly and care information.

All our furniture has the weight, dimensions and boxed dimensions on the product page. When measuring your space, use the boxed dimensions to determine whether it will fit through the doors during delivery. Your order will be taken to your room of your choice, as far as the second floor. Heavier furniture will only be delivered to the ground floor, so please check the product page before purchasing.
