This is a little smaller than I expected and doesn't hold a small photo that well, the picture tips forward slightly and you also have to have it tilted to one side as the slot doesn't go down far enough for it to just rest straight on the star. My picture is very small (5.5x 4) but I'd say you need an even smaller one to make this work and look good. Maybe 4x4.

Although this looks really nice, the bottom edge of the star is not straight so once you put a photo in, it toppled forward.
